Brick Retaining Walls in Langley, BC

Masonry walls: mortared natural stone, brick, armour stone and boulder walls, and reinforced concrete block or segmental walls. We're a mason, so stone and brick are our specialty, but we build the right wall for your site.

We build walls of all heights. Once a wall passes about a metre, or holds a load like a driveway, it usually needs an engineer's design and a permit. We arrange both so it's done by the book.

Almost always water. When water builds up behind a wall with no drainage, the pressure pushes it over. That's why we put as much work into the footing and drainage as the stone you see.

Lower garden walls usually don't, but taller or load-bearing walls do, and the rules vary between Langley City, the Township, and Surrey. We'll tell you what your wall needs and handle the permit and engineering if it does.

It depends on the size, the stone, and the site access. A small garden wall can be a couple of days; a large engineered wall can run a week or more. We'll give you a realistic timeline when we quote.
